Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: January 12, 2026

Lvov Law is committed to providing an accessible website experience for all users, including individuals with disabilities. Our accessibility efforts are guided by applicable United States federal laws, regulatory guidance, and recognized technical standards.

Applicable Laws and Regulatory Framework

Our website accessibility practices are informed by the following federal laws and regulations, to the extent applicable:

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

  • Title III of the ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in places of public accommodation, which courts and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) have interpreted to include websites of businesses and professional services open to the public.

  • While the ADA does not currently mandate a specific technical standard, the DOJ consistently references WCAG conformance as the appropriate benchmark.

Rehabilitation Act of 1973

  • Section 504 prohibits disability discrimination by programs receiving federal financial assistance.

  • Section 508 establishes accessibility requirements for federal agencies and federally funded digital content.

Although Sections 504 and 508 do not directly apply to private law firm websites in all circumstances, we reference them as best-practice standards where relevant.

U.S. Department of Justice Guidance

  • The DOJ has repeatedly affirmed that websites must be accessible under the ADA and has identified WCAG Level AA as the appropriate measure of accessibility in enforcement actions and settlements.

Technical Accessibility Standards

To meet the above legal expectations, we strive to conform to:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2, Level AA

These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are the primary standard relied upon by U.S. courts and federal enforcement agencies for ADA website accessibility.

Accessibility Measures Implemented

We take reasonable steps to improve accessibility, including but not limited to:

  • Structuring content for compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies

  • Providing alternative text for meaningful images

  • Supporting keyboard navigation where feasible

  • Maintaining readable typography and sufficient color contrast

  • Using clear headings and semantic markup

  • Avoiding content known to cause seizures or physical reactions

Accessibility is considered during website updates and content creation.

Limitations and Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. While we strive to ensure full compliance, some content or third-party features may not yet be fully accessible. We continually review our website and make reasonable modifications to improve accessibility.

Third-party tools or embedded content not under our direct control may present accessibility limitations.

Alternative Access and Assistance

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service through an alternative method.
